Divine Intervention - Granados and Nuñez

Divine Intervention - Granados and Nuñez

"Go Rest High On That Mountain" Julian Granados, Madrid, Spain
and
Linda Nuñez, Orlando, Florida, USA Two musicians, living 5000 miles apart from one another, who have NEVER MET OR SPOKEN TO ONE ANOTHER.
The two brought together by an Angel from the Heavens above, Dr. Alfonso Sainz, (1943-2014) an OB/GYN Surgeon and the leader and founder of one of Spain's most historical bands, Los Pekenikes, and the love his daughter, Diana Raquel Sáinz who continues to keep her father's legacy alive. Diana Sáinz, having shown her life long and childhood friend, recording artist, Linda Nuñez, a video created in memory of her father, at the request of recording artist, Julián Granados, a life long friend and colleague of Alfonso's, with his beautiful recording of "Go Rest High On That Mountain" by Vince Gill Knowing Linda absolutely loved the song, Diana asked Linda to dub over with her voice creating a spectacular duet. This duet was sent Julián Granados on March 12, 2019, by Diana as a gift of gratitude for his love and support. Julián loving this gift, realized there was much more to this gift than just a song that was sent. It was Alfonso's doing from above finishing projects that he started with his daughter and using her to continue the work that was still to be done. What was created with a casual request has become a union of two recording artist, two musicians now coming together not just with this special song, but a union of two that will create incredible music for years to come, and to live and be heard beyond their lifetime. With the greatest of thanks to two incredibly talented musicians Julián Granados and Linda Nuñez, to my beloved father Dr. Alfonso Sainz for his never-ending love, his contribution to music and his commitment as a physician and to God our Father. Original Song by Vince Gill With Love: Diana Raquel Sáinz

Diana Sainz

Diana Sainz - My Life... it sounds great on paper, but is it really?

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
― Ansel Adams

A professional photographer and author of two books, 'Signs of Life' and 'Sacred Grounds', working on my third about the Salton Sea. I photograph, I paint, I sew and I am always willing to try something new!

Currently Producing an Independent Film 'Pigpen...a blues singer', the story of Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan, and my FAVORITE project so far, a documentary on my father, Alfonso Sainz, leader of one of Spain's most influential bands of the 60's and 70's, Los Pekenikes.

Production Coordinator and Director of Media and Public Relations for the Independent Film 'The Encore of Tony Duran' staring Elliott Gould, Gene Pietragallo, William Katt, Nikki Ziering and Cody Kasch.

I was born in Madrid Spain to a very musically talented father, and a very artistic mother from Orlando, Florida. I have managed to obtain their artistic abilities but express them through photography. I grew up in Spain and in Florida, lived in Maryland, Texas and North Carolina and 5 years ago, I moved out to Southern California.

Since I was a small child and was handed my first point and shoot camera, I have been snapping away. The ability to share what I see through the camera lens, capturing memories frame by frame, the beauty or reality of life, taking people to places they have never been, bringing loved ones together, the very essence of innocence on a child's face, or the excitement and happiness one experiences during a victorious event, Photography has been my passion in life. My focus varies, allowing me to experience different subjects, types of photography, and gives me the opportunity to meet people of different cultures, professions.

My adult children have followed in my footsteps and have been an inspiration to much of what I do. Their encouragement to pursue my dream has given me the freedom to put my heart in soul into a passion I love.

Alfonso Sainz ~ Los Pekenikes
After 35 years Alfonso Sainz and Tim Coons (Producer of the Backstreet Boys) were reunited for a I making on my father's life as leader of one of Spain's most famous rock groups Los Pekenikes, the 1960's and 1970's. From this meeting, a fire was lit and Alfonso was once again back in the recording studios working with Tim Coons on 'Tu Eres La Mujer' as well as another song to be recorded and released later this month.
